Project Description: The Team Editorial Program at The Leaflet was founded to increase environmental discourse on the UC Berkeley campus. By expanding the content reach, operational capacity, and professional development efforts of The Leaflet, one of the only environmental publications in the UC system, the Team Editorial Program allows the publication to increase environmental education, storytelling, and conversation at UC Berkeley. The TGIF funds would also cover 2 retreats at the beginning of the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters and 2 prepaid BART clipper cards. The 2 retreats would increase team cohesion and professional development of The Leaflet’s members, while the 2 prepaid BART clipper cards would compensate students for event travel and extend the Leaflet’s local reach to broader Bay Area event coverage.
